Masculine look: Miley Cyrus tried on a fake moustache while chatting on the Late Night with Jimmy Fallon show in New York
Miley Cyrus traded in her usual A-list glamour for a more masculine look last night as she wore a fake moustache on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
The 18-year-old resembled her father Billy Ray Cyrus while sporting the faux facial hair as she promoted her upcoming guest appearance on Saturday Night Live, which airs this weekend.
She is set to host the sketch show episode alongside The Strokes but while chatting to Jimmy Fallon, told him about her moustache obsession.

Host Fallon said to Miley: ‘I heard that you are obsessed with moustaches’, to which she replied: ‘Yes. I have a diamond moustache with me at all times.
‘I collect all kind of things with moustaches – pins and mugs and people.’
Comedian Fallon then pulled out a briefcase of fake facial hair pieces and Miley was quick to pick some up and try them on.
‘Do you think it suits me? Should I wear it?’ She asked Fallon.
The former Hannah Montana star was keen to grab publicity for her comedic side, rather than for her party girl reputation, which her father Billy Ray recently spoke out about.

Miley is said to be furious with her country singing father after he said last month that the Disney show wrecked his family, after a string of scandals that sullied the once-wholesome image of his teenage daughter.
‘I’ll tell you right now, the damn show destroyed my family’, he said.
Billy Ray, 49, told the U.S. edition of GQ magazine: ‘There’s no doubt about it.
Somewhere along this journey, both mine and Miley’s faith has been shaken.
‘That’s what saddens me the most. I’m scared for her. She’s got a lot of people around her that are putting her in a great deal of danger. I want to get her sheltered from the storm.’

He spoke out after feeling that his multi-millionaire daughter was ‘spinning out of control’, following a string of scandals including her posing topless for Vanity Fair magazine at the age of 15, her provocative outfits and pole dancing stage exploits that outraged parents.
A video of Miley was then leaked last year that showed her apparently smoking cannabis, causing further controversy.
But Miley went ‘ballistic’ over her father’s GQ interview according to the Chicago Sun Times and cannot believe he criticised Hannah Montana, given that it was that show that 'bailed him out'.
Billy Ray, who played her dad on the series was apparenlty in serious financial debt before resurrecting his career on the show with Miley.
